NATURAL ‘GLOW’ TIPS

Everyone wants their skin to pop, whether you are light-skinned (you want that your yellow to glow even more) or dark-skinned (you want your melanin to pop).  A glowing skin not only gives you a radiant look,it also makes you look much younger and more beautiful. Here are a few tips to help give your skin that natural glow you have always desired. (This isn’t just for the ladies, it works for guys too)

**MOISTURIZE- No one wants a dry , scaly skin.  Keep your skin moisturized by applying cream , lotion or oils daily (preferably after bathing). Whether coconut oil, olive oil or body creams and lotions ,whichever works for you.

**SKIP THE LONG STEAMY SHOWERS AND GO FOR SHORTER COOLER ONES -Long hot showers strips skin of its moisture and washes away protective oils. So limit showers to 10 minutes and keep the water cool.

**SWITCH FROM DEODORANTS SOAPS TO ONE WITH ADDED FAT-Deodorants soaps gives a drying effect while added-fat soaps leave an oily film on the skin.

**IF YOU ARE PREPARING FOR A DAY IN THE SUN – Lather on sunscreen as It’s the easiest way to prolong healthy glowing skin. Also slip on sunglasses; not only does that hot sunglasses make you look good, it also provides protection against under eye wrinkling and ageing.

**DRINK A LOT OF WATER – Doctor’s recommend at least 8 glasses of water a day. In case you didn’t know, water helps clear the toxins that cause inflammation and blemishes. It also assists in transporting nutrients and oxygen to skin cells.

**EXERCISE- Run, ride a bike, workout etc. Do anything that gets you sweating as sweating eliminates toxic chemicals that can build up under skin.

**DON’T FORGET THE VEGGIES – Eating as many fresh vegetables as you can is great for good skin.

**BEAUTY SLEEP- A good night’s sleep is good for skin health as lack of sleep can rob skin of its natural glow.  Your body boosts blood flow to the skin while you snooze, which means you wake up to a healthier skin.

**CLEAN UP YOUR MAKE-UP BRUSHES AND STRIP OFF YOUR MAKE-UP BEFORE BED ( FOR THE LADIES )- Make-up brushes collects dirt and bacteria, therefore not cleaning them regularly can cause breakouts and you definitely don’t want that. Also, leaving make-up on skin clogs the pores and can also cause excessive dryness.

Yippee!!! You are on your way to a more beautiful, radiant skin and would definitely cause those heads to turn twice. Thank me later.
